A Solvable Problem Is Good—an Unsolvable One Is Better

Unsolvable problems are an endless source of innovation

What do my pen, smartphone, and sneakers have in common?

They effectively solve the tasks they were designed for.

I don’t need a better pen or backpack.

But problems such as low travel speed, poverty, or inaccurate weather forecasts are far from solved.

Every step towards solving them can turn into a successful business.

The best problems to build your strategy on are:

[1] Big problems that everyone has and recognizes, and

[2] That no one knows how to solve.

Finding solutions to them can be very difficult.

But those who succeed thrive.
