Strategy always comes with risk – but not this one
Nobody can take away from you what’s inside you.
Imagine that your life strategy is to become rich and famous. You can start a business or become an actor.
You’ll face two difficulties along the way:
- Somebody will always try to steal your victory. You can be smart and hardworking, but sneaky and aggressive competitors will still try to stop you from making it.
- Even if you win, youwill never feel totally safe. Your rivals will always try to take your place – and there will be plenty of them.
But what if your goal is to BE:
- A surgeon
- An engineer
- A writer
- An actor
- A cellist
- A blogger
- A babysitter?
If you’re good at what you do, the source of your happiness is inside of you.
No one can take it away from you.
You may not get an Oscar, the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, or a Grammy.
But if you create value for others and enjoy what you do, you’re invincible.
It’s a risk-free life strategy.
