You’re Probably Already Happy—You Just Don’t Know It

Take off your gloomy goggles first

Entrepreneurs and CEOs need life strategies to thrive. Friday is the time to reflect.

Your world is what you see.

So, if you want to change your world for the better, change your worldview.

It’s the only way. Why?

Imagine two adults and a child in a room. The child is active and noisy.

One adult is smiling. “What a lovely, playful child!” they think.

The other adult believes the kid is a spoiled, screaming monster.

The child is the same. The perceptions are different.

Whatever you look at, you see it through the lens of your personality.

I’ve seen happy taxi drivers and CEOs suffering from imposter syndrome.

My friend, a successful entrepreneur, thought he was worthless. My personal driver believed he deserved a Nobel Prize.

Searching for happiness outside yourself – in business, awards, status – is meaningless.

If you feel unhappy, nothing external can truly fix that. You see the world through the ‘gloomy goggles.’

No matter what you gain, your ‘gloomy goggles’ will distort it, making everything look worse.

You may win $1 million in the lottery and still feel unhappy.

Take off your gloomy goggles first.

You may discover you’re already happy.

And then your achievements will delight you.

In my Life Strategy newsletter you won’t find advice on:

1) setting life goals

2) creating plans, or

3) starting to wake up at 5 AM.

This newsletter is about finding happiness (or rather, well-being) where it lives—inside ourselves.

You’ve probably set goals, achieved them, and still didn’t feel happier. Happiness isn’t about having lots of money or success but feeling happy.

You’ll learn how to take off your ‘gloomy goggles’ and find peace of mind.

That’s what we’ll talk about in this newsletter.
